In today’s world, we are constantly being told how to eat, how to move, what foods to skip, what pots to avoid, how to cook, what types of burners to use, what temperature of water to drink, how to breathe, etc.
This makes it extremely overwhelming and quite honestly, discouraging, when trying to make a change… because it feels like no matter what change you make, that’s nothin’ in the grand scheme of things.
Does anyone feel this?
Friends… I want to bring back hope.
The truth is…
We can do anything, but we cannot do everything.
Especially, not all at once.
And expert advice aside…
I bet you, if you were asked to choose 1-3 habits you currently do that do not serve you…
You could tell me what they are without missing a beat.
The thing is…
It’s not that you don’t know what to do…
It’s that the outside noise is so dang loud, it’s drowning out your inner knowing.
Your gut intuition.
In a recent conversation with a friend, she admitted she decided to take a break from drinking because it no longer felt right for her mentally or spiritually.
She even mentioned hearing the voice of God whisper…
“When’s enough?“
Have you ever heard that whisper?
Maybe not from God… but that voice… maybe a question?
Have you ever followed it?
What might happen if you did?
Think about a habit you currently partake in – any habit, and ask yourself these questions:
Does this habit affect your day-to-day tasks?
Does this habit affect your patience?
Does this habit affect how you show up for people?
Does this habit affect your energy?
Does this habit affect your sleep?
Does this habit affect your ability to focus?
How might your life look without this habit or less of it?
Curiosity and awareness come first.
If you want to make a change, don’t allow the outside noise to convince you you’re not ready or you don’t know enough…
I promise you, you know plenty!
YOU are your own best expert of you!
Trust your gut… and get to experimenting!
You know what to do.
Believing in us, always.
